Dive into a new career with High Life Highland leisure team

Interested in a career in the leisure industry? If so, get along to Inverness Leisure next weekend to find out what’s involved and try some hands on activities.

High Life Highland is looking to recruit new leisure assistants, life guards and swimming teachers – among other roles – with various shift patterns available and staff benefits.

Taking place on Friday 25 April from 1pm-6pm and Saturday 26 April from 9am-3pm, anyone with an interest in finding out more is encouraged to come along – and bring your swimming kit if you want to give elements of the job a try such as water testing!

There will also be an opportunity to take a closer look at the first aid training that will be provided as part of the role as well as the various qualifications that can be achieved and the opportunities for promotion and career pathways.

Ross Dudgeon, Facilities Manager at Inverness Leisure said: “We are keen to highlight to possible new recruits the many benefits associated with being part of the High Life Highland leisure team and no experience is necessary for these roles as full training is provided. Our recruitment open days are a brilliant opportunity to see first hand the variety of roles on offer, ask questions from those already doing the job and if people are keen – they can fill in job applications on the day. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to Inverness Leisure.”
