Duncan Forbes Primary is within a 10 minute walk to Culloden Academy. There is scope to deploy S6 Sports Leaders to deliver after school and lunch time clubs. OJ Sports deliver a regular multi sports club every Monday, therefore currently Active Schools clubs are offered throughout the rest of the week. Duncan Forbes Mums facebook page is an excellent method for communicating with parents on promoting existing and new clubs, but also for recruiting new volunteer parents.

2017/2018 Plan
• continue to support dance tutor with WakeUp ‘n’ Shakeup classes on Thursday mornings
• continue to support parent volunteers with after school Duncan Forbes Athletics Club.
• Set up meeting with PE staff at Culloden Academy and Head Teacher (Duncan Forbes Primary) to discuss deployment of Sports Leaders for lunch and after school clubs. Schedule a programme of activity based on the 2017/2018 timetable. Suitable times are morning (10.40-10.55) and lunch breaks (12.35-1.20).
• Identify two parent volunteers who are willing to set up an after school club. Organise for mapping of school playground £150 from AS budget.
• Identify a student coach or parent volunteer to continue with after school basketball
• promote and support after school gymnastics club
